August Beverage Co.
August Beverage Co. is an Austin, Texas-based cold brew coffee company. The company was born out of the need for cleaner beverages in the gym, with no chemicals or additives - just pure cold brew coffee. I was brought on to visually brand the company and design packaging. The rampant lion was a natural extension of strength, both from crossfit culture and strong coffee, also tying in with the month of August's Leo zodiac sign. Similar to the brand's no-nonsense mantra, the packaging is clean and restrained, opting for a classic look vs some of the flashy looking energy drinks on the market that frequently contain chemicals. When a brick-and-mortar drive-thru location was planned, I was brought on to design a monument sign for which I selected materials, drew diagrams and modelled mockups before its fabrication.
